We Won !

We won! We beat the Cubs. As I predicted. But I'm not gonna lie: how is it that our pitchers gave up six runs? And. To. The. Cubs?! Ugh. Three games into the Spring Training season and I can't figure it out. Well, I can I think, but it may be too early for opinions. I'll save those for next week when things start to pan out a bit.  In the meantime, we play the Giants today. What we need is a huge win. The season is just beginning, but the Giants are our nemesis and we need this morale boost. Girl Talk: Ladies, you know when that one girl walks in the room who all the guys stop and stare at, leaving all the ladies wall flowers? Sure all those "wallflowers" may have have sweet and cherished significant others who kindly reassure: "Well, I'm going home with you!" But we all know they had to do the double take when that one girl walked into the room. And even though the good ones may be able to get that one girl out of their head afterwards, she still exists. She's the ghost. 

Hmmm, ... who was whose ghost... Natasha Carrie's or Carrie Natasha's? In any case...THAT other girl...that ghost is the Giants. (Oh and the Angels are too, but we haven't played them yet.) Dear Boys in Blue: Do NOT let it get to you. You can do this. You are better than the Giants. And you cost more. (There. Yes, I said it.) You can do this, win....and WIN BIG. It may be only Spring Training, but it sets the tone...
