Now THAT'S More Like It!

Now that's what I like to hear!
Ladies, when we decide to win, we gotta win clear, right? There can be no question about it. Not close. Just win. I won't even complain about the 8 runs we did give up. Last season, I sang praises for Jerry Hairston. I'm starting to sing again. Why isn't he given more credit? Ugh. I really hope he isn't used as trade bait later. If it works don't fix it, leave it alone.
Really like this little alarm clock. Found on shop.mlb.com kinda reminds me mine needs fixin'.
I digress...
Ah yes, Jerry Hairston. He drove in 3 of our 11 runs today. And his brother plays for the Cubs. I always like it when siblings play on opposing teams. There is something fun about that.
Ok, GIRL TALK: It's like that cute guy who somehow gets overlooked. He's probably the shy, quiet Guy who plays by the rules, the perfect gentlemen, walks you TO the door instead of just saying goodnight at the car, and then after walking you to the door doesn't necessarily expect to be invited in... hopes to be, but respects the decision if he's not. THAT Guy. It's not the "nice-guys- finish-last" syndrome, but rather that one sweet guy who is just naturally awesome...when he shines, he shines. Yeah, that Guy. Well played today, Jerry Hairston.
Tomorrow we play the Angels. Aurgh! Our other nemesis. Don't worry. I have faith. Coming off a win makes it easier to win tomorrow. Plus, the Dodgers are the real Los Angeles team. Don't even get me started on that!
Bette Davis ...she could freeze anyone with a stare.
I tried to work that in. Somehow I think I missed the mark. Oh well. I'm sure the Boys in Blue will do better than me. They'll be on the mark tomorrow. GO Blue!
