That Works for Me!

GO Blue! I'm always thrilled when we can one-up the "California Angels." I rarely post ANYTHING related to any other team's logo but here is a time when an exception might be made...I believe you can still find these patches ....somewhere?
Look, I'm old-school. I REFUSE to call them by their latest name... besides, don't the Angels change their team name like every decade anyway? NO self-respecting Dodger fan will ever refer to the Angels with the city name "Los Angeles" preceding.  The Dodgers moved from Brooklyn,... no one ever heard them call themselves the "Brooklyn Dodgers of Los Angeles," right? Ick. Can you imagine?? There is only one L.A. team. Period. I really don't care what Arte Moreno thinks. I'm sure Gene Autry rolled over when THAT name change occurred. Someone needs to buy him, Moreno, a G.P.S. or a Thomas Bros. Guide. Seriously. (sputtering) Two different counties two cities... one Team name... surprised he didn't rename them the L.A. of California of United States Angels of Anaheim off the 57 and 5 of Orange County Crush. (NEW GIRLS: Details: Arte Moreno owns the Angels. Gene Autry used to. Autry didn't even want to change the name to the Long Beach Angels when they might have moved out there at one time. Although THAT never happened, Autry always preferred "California Angels." Ugh.)

Good grief. I digress. We won! The freeway exhibition series is off to a lovely start. One day closer to Opening Day.

Ryu was genius. Belesario had to come in help out a bit after Guerrier got us into a bit of a jam (I almost kinda forgot Matt was still around on roster...), but all turned out fine. Final score 3-0, LOS ANGELES Dodgers. Yes, I have been known to gloat. Ah,... if there ever was a vixen who had the gloating smirk down pat...Miss Vivien Leigh....Yet somehow always lovely...simply lovely...

I tend to gloat especially when we beat the Angels. Have I mentioned we won tonight? Woo-hoo! GIRL Talk: Ladies, it's like the perfect date lived up to being... the perfect date.

(Ah  Grant and Bergman... or in   a more modern sense who can forget Aiden?)

Or we find the perfect shoes to match that dress we love so much. Or we haven't chewed our lipstick off at lunch. Ok maybe not quite that. But you get the point.... There seems to be a sense of happy calm that we allow ourselves to wallow in. Think... Gidget!
Enjoy the smiles... can't stop! GO Blue!
