BIG WIN and WIN BIG!

WE WON! And THAT was ONE FUN WIN TOO!
Lots to GAB about tonight so bear with me....And as always, this is on the Dodger game.
Here's the scenario: bottom of the third inning, Ryu gets on base (cute!), he's probably thinking-"Oh great! How'd I get here? Now I gotta run!" Up comes Crawford (Girls, he is an extremely fast runner), HE makes it to first, bwahahahaha.... I'm thinking, HE'S gonna be passing Ryu on his way to rounding the bases if anything happens: "Outa my way!" (Go Roadrunner! GO!)
Of course, as fate would have it, Peavy is playing typical dirty White Sox ball (oops...Opinion Alert...) and starts to throw way inside almost hitting in my opinion Matt Kemp on his 35th at bat for Spring Training. With a full count, Matt hits a grounder to third and is thrown at at first for the third out. So as it turns out, the running machine Crawford didn't have to figure out how to pace himself behind a Pitcher. New Girls: Pitchers are not generally known for their hitting or running abilities.

New Girls: when a batter's count is shown, such as 2-2, it is read out loud, "the count is two and two." The first number is balls (stop giggling) the second number represents strikes. If someone says "full count," that means it's 3-2. The pitching has gone as far as it can go, and now something will hopefully be decided soon. BUT, although a foul ball can count as a strike, a foul ball cannot count as a third strike. Thus, we may here awhile longer depending on the perseverance of the batter and the pitcher.
Have I lost you? Good. Stay with me. Hopefully it's gets less tedious and more Girly as we go along. Alright, so school is out. For now. Normally I don't go into this much basic "lesson" stuff, but I figure Spring Training is a good time to try and bring everyone up to speed who may be uber-new to the game. As the season actually starts and gets underway, the less time spent on defining basics and more time on Girly GAB (baseball related of course), the better.

Juicy Couture, you've done it again. Love that purse!
I really should have these. The sooner the better. Two shoes would be even better, though. The shoe came from a friend. Unclear who they are though... (the shoe- not the friend- I know my friend).

Also, for anyone who may have gotten the wrong idea in yesterday's post, I am NOT a Star Wars nor a Sci-fi fanatic. Two people asked me that today. I had two pictures up and quoted once. Good grief. I love the first original three movies. But that's it, and by no means do I consider myself an expert. I have just always remembered that "Stay on target," line since I was a kid. And I am always supporting fellow female writers though. Yay!

Now, back to Kemp: bottom of fifth... he gets a little payback when he smacks the ball into the outfield gap with a stand up double. Sweet! (New Girls: Stand up double means he didn't have to slide... he arrived nice and neat standing up on second base.) The power of the hit was text book Kemp. AND THAT'S WHAT WE NEED TO SEE MORE OF! THAT. RIGHT THERE. Girl Talk: You know, when your husband or boyfriend has a great day and tells you about it? Yes. THAT'S the kind of Team spirit and pride we feel when our Team delivers!  SMACK!

THEN A THREE RUN DOUBLE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE SEVENTH! THANK YOU ETHIER! How often does THAT happen? A three run double... that was a FUN inning!
And Puig is clearly good luck. With all due respect... let's face it, Puig has proven himself this spring more than Crawford. I like Crawford, don't get me wrong. But I'm thinking Puig is better, he's younger, and he's healthier. So then why do we constantly sabotage ourselves by choosing the big name over the clear talent? !?@#!! (I really should start WITH "Opinion Alert" BEFORE I start foaming at the mouth, shouldn't I?) Look, Crawford is good, but Puig is...he's GOODER (I REALLY WANT THAT TO BE A WORD RIGHT NOW.... bear with me....as the season draws nigh, I get carried away to the point where average daily vocabulary sometimes won't cut it. Just go with it...it sometimes makes sense.) Look, I don't care who has what contract  If someone has the IT factor, let him play. Love Puig!
Final: 10-4. Dodgers get a big win... a big win for the largest crowd they've ever had at this Cactus League stadium and a BIG win for their egos and self confidence. And who doesn't need- and enjoy - a BIG win every once in awhile?
Yes! GO BLUE!
