August 3, 2012: POST GAME GAB: Now That's How We Play in L.A.

Now THAT was an awesome game! Dodgers beat the Cubs: 6-1. And now I'M beat.  Fireworks after the game too. Talk about a spectacular finishing number! It's emotionally draining to sit on the edge of one's seat for nine innings since the Giants won. They beat Colorado 16-4. However, Billingsly pitched extremely well tonight, taking his third straight win and allowing us to stay one half a game back. And the rest of the boys chipped in: ESPECIALLY A.J. Ellis with 2 solo home runs (not to mention his RBI single). Woo-Hoo! And Victorino can expect a friend from the east coast: "former" Teammate for no more than a few days, right-hander Joe Blanton has been picked up on waivers from the Phillies. Hey Dodgers, lookin' good!

There were good times to be had by all (especially when your team in winning). The crowd is really picking up on "I SEE YOU!"It's fun to watch the games become even MORE fun than they already were. The words my brain is liking are "That's how we play in L.A.!" It's like the inside story you share with your friends. To watch Kemp throw the "I SEE YOU" sign to Ramirez is like watching kids- they are out there having fun and loving their job. I think everyone should have an "I SEE YOU!" sign at work. Make one up- it can be a cross of your heart, a tug of your earring, whatever. Just a signal to your co-workers that you've got their back, you know they'll have yours. Met some fantastic people at the game- really fun and inspiring.  A little more on that tomorrow. I'm beat- and so are the Cubs. "I SEE YOU!" GO BLUE! Look for PreGame GAB tomorrow! :)
