Lose Some, Win Some BIG ... POST GAMES GAB Double Header

Unfreakingbelievable.

Here's what I think: Matt Kemp and Brandon League should be the new spokespersons for McDonald's.

Lovin' it!
To start the story: A double header. To make up for lost time yesterday due to the rain delay. My fussiness, impatience and disappointment from that was rewarded today with a double header. 2 games- all day baseball to listen to and/or watch. Sweet! Speaking of Doubles... Here's a Double Double-

If you have never tried In n Out you're missing out. I myself being vegetarian get the stuff minus the meat, extra cheese, but it's still good. And the fries are fresh cut. Shakes to swoon for. Yay! Ok, where were the bats the first game today? Then all of a sudden we come out swinging the second game? *Sigh... we need to gain ground here! The Brewers are not far behind, chasing L.A. for that wild card... and L.A. is chasing St. Louis. Ah the chase... there's something heart racing about that... GIRL TALK: I by no means am a "Rules" girl, but I do prefer it when a guy calls me. There is something giddy about the chase. Seeeee? How much baseball is like life?

Going back to yesterday's post...Guess who was shown at the game today!

I didn't know Lou Diamond Phillips was a baseball fan! Total coincidence from yesterday's post! He's so cuuuute! *Note: I tried to find a picture of him at the game, but couldn't.

Ok, so back to the games... Josh Beckett was brilliant. Up to the 8th inning. Then trouble. I was really hoping for a shut out, but when 3 runs happened and fast,... well...NOT happy...

Ok, gotta admit, James Dean is pretty cute too.

Then when they tied it up???  Sooooo not happy.

BUT HOW SWEET WAS THAT KEMP HOME RUN IN THE NINTH?! And BRANDON LEAGUE REALLY CLOSED THE DEAL! We needed that win. We needed it IN THAT WAY. We needed a BIG win. And we got it. Like a dry spell rained on-NOT RAINED OUT, RAINED ON! GIRLS, YOU know what I'm talking about right? When the phone hasn't rung in awhile, ... suddenly it's a BIG call-

And all is right with the world.
Almost. We still have to see how the Cardinals do. They're still playing right now. Leading in the ninth. Grrr... But boy-oh-boy how we needed that BIG win. For their hearts and minds, they needed to win the way they did- with Kemp at the helm of the bats. Again.
Game time tomorrow: 4:05pm PDT. GO BLUE!
