Top Ten Reasons Life is Like Baseball

Something just got me thinking... Ladies, you know that feeling, when our mind just wanders...
Here's how my brain works (sometimes)-

Top Ten Reasons Life is Like Baseball (or the world according to Kim):

1. No one likes to strike out. 
2. The goal is to get home safely.
3. Sometimes there's a lot of action, sometimes it's slow. Sometimes there's a lot of running, sometimes there's a lot of standing around. You need to stay alert for all of it. 
4. You're gonna get dirt on your uniform. Deal with it.
5. You're gonna have hot streaks. Enjoy. 
6. With 162 games, you rarely get a day off. But that's ok- it's worth it. 
7. In a potential perfect game, you don't jinx it- do not talk about it. Unless you don't mind others throwing peanut shells at you. 
8. Everyone has lots of little superstitions that get them through it.
9. If you're caught stealing, you're out. And rightfully so.
10. There's always room to grow- April baseball is different from October. But come fall, you'd better be ready.
