We Can Still Do This...

I can't take much more of this...seriously, how can this be happening? First of all, I should have started off with saying how marvelous Kershaw was in his 70 pitches... wow. Last count I heard 47 of those were strikes. No runs given up. Hats off to Kershaw, well played Sir! Ok, that said... we still lost. In case you hadn't heard. To the Rangers yet. !#@$%!
I guess Mr. Ranger gets one up on us this time...
League gave up a home run to the Rangers' Murphy for the first run scored. Final: 4-0. Not gonna lie, I am a little nervous as we get closer to Opening Day. Girl Talk: Spring Break is supposed to be like practice dating. I talked about practice dating in one of my posts last season too. It's when you know the guy isn't "the one," but he seems to bathe and is willing to pay for dinner so why not? I mean, if he's nice and all, it's a huge compliment for someone to be attracted to you AND indicate as much by asking you out, right? So as long as he doesn't have a record, (this one is on Ebay somewhere...if you have never heard Who's On First seriously go find it on Youtube or something...!), if
he doesn't call you Ma'am and he treats you with respect...why not? Find an attraction and thus a reason to go out and practice flirting and practice being doted on.... It builds everyone's self confidence to date. And no one is saying you have to marry the guy...it's just practice. That's why it's called Spring Training- er, I mean dating. It's all the same...it's part of the game.
Remember this gem of a show? See? Even Lenny and Squiggy have hope!
Practice makes perfect, right? So that's what Spring Training is to me...and what it is to the guys on the field (I would assume): PRACTICE. It's warming up for the Season that counts which is right around the corner. Our Boys in Blue need to gel... come together as the Team they are being paid to be (that statement may qualify as an opinion...). I know they can do it. I know they can. They know they can. And Girls, this is just like the hour before he picks us up as we get ready for the date that counts... when we know we can make him melt. We know we've got it in us. The confidence, the glow,... just like Ava Gardner, Bette Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker or Mitzi Gaynor... they all have that confident...glow....

So go out there and win! Opening Day in two weeks! {SQUEAL!!}
GO BLUE!
